Source packages
Important: when using the source packages you need to have the KDE development packages installed before you start.
All-in-one installer This installer includes everything needed to get Apollon running (contains latest giFT & plugins and Apollon 1.0.2.1!).
Apollon 1.0.2.1 source (gzip) |
Apollon 1.0.2.1 source (bzip2)
Use one of these two files to compile Apollon from source. You will need
to get a working giFT installation yourself.
Plugins
Currently there are the following plugins available:
- OpenFT
- Gnutella
- FastTrack
- Ares
AddOns
GNOME-user probably want to install the kdetrayproxy in order to get the systemtray-icon working.
You can get the source of the module here: http://www.kde-apps.org/content/show.php?content=10660.
After you unpacked the source you may have to create the configure first:
make -f Makefile.cvs
./configure
Then just install it. The next time you start Apollon, it will use this proxy.
Source from CVS
To check out the developer-version of Apollon here are the commands:
cvs -d:pserver:anonymous@cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/apollon login
(just hit enter when it asks you for a password)
cvs -z3 -d:pserver:anonymous@cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/apollon co apollon
